Held in August, it offers several race distances: marathon (42.195 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), and 10 km, providing runners with the chance to traverse Bali’s scenic landscapes and traditional villages. The course includes unique cultural performances, with marshals dressed in traditional Balinese attire and local musical performances, creating an authentic and immersive atmosphere. The 2025 edition will take place from August 22nd to 24th at the Bali United Training Center, in Gianyar, Bali.
The race starts and finishes in front of the Bali United Training Center, leading participants through breathtaking landscapes that mix Bali’s countryside with traditional villages. This immersion in local culture, combined with a well-organized course, makes the Bali Marathon an unforgettable experience for runners of all levels.
The event is internationally recognized, being the first and only in Indonesia to receive the “World Athletics Elite” label. It is also part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group circuit.
