Bordeaux Half Marathon: Simon Prady and Marie Bouchard Emerge Victorious
The second edition of the Bordeaux Half Marathon crowned Toulouse’s Simon Prady and Brest’s Marie Bouchard this Sunday, December 1, 2024. A true popular success, the sporting event brought together nearly 13,000 runners.
On this first morning of December, about 13,000 runners gathered at Place de la Bourse for the start of the Bordeaux Half Marathon. Organized by the Stade Bordelais Athlétisme club, this second edition attracted 3,000 more participants than the previous year. A growing crowd lined the cobblestone streets of the Gironde city to cheer and support the participants. The atmosphere was lively as the first two finishers crossed the line: Simon Prady from SA Toulouse UC (1h05’02, personal record) for the men, and Marie Bouchard from Iroise Athlétisme (1h14’01) for the women.
